Kosova Sot is a daily Albanian-language newspaper with a serious digital operation. I ran a full technical SEO audit: crawlability, mobile usability, page speed, structured data.
Most audits are useless, and it is not because the findings are wrong. It is because they are written to impress the person who signed the invoice. Two hundred slides, severity colors, an executive summary. The developer who has to fix any of it opens the file, cannot tell what to change, and closes it. Nothing happens.
I wrote this one for the people who would implement it. Each issue said what is broken, where it lives in the platform, why it costs the site something, and what the fix looks like. Specific enough to start on without a follow-up call.
Then I ordered it, honestly. The top of the list was the small number of things that would actually move results. Below that, the things worth doing eventually. At the bottom, the things a tool flags red that no reader or search engine cares about, marked as such, because telling a client what to ignore is part of the job.
The measure of an audit is not its length. It is how much of it gets shipped.
